Episode 279 - Buzzballs and Heart Attacks

Ben, Brad, and Nate have been BUSY. Not only are they keeping up with Saturday Night Live at the Ten to One Podcast, but Nate got married, and then we almost lost a very special games episode with special guests Ben Blohm and Susan Swarner. Well, the episode isn't exactly special It's pretty normal, but there's just some more games than usual. We still talk about movies like Practical Magic 2, the Oasis documentary, a Mr. T documentary, Mortal Kombat II, Masters of the Universe, and more (yeah, we recorded this back in September). Hopefully this holds you over until we record a new episode later in November. Kisses!

[00:00:17] Hey everybody, it's another episode of Go Flix Yourself. My name is Ben Konowitz and with me as always is the thin crust to my deep dish Bradford Oman. Hey that's me, the superior pizza, abso-friggin-lutely. Thin crust? Yeah, 100%. Aurelio's is thin crust and it's one of the best pizzas in town. You know what, the stuffed crust, the Parmesan stuffed crust, Nate Loucks. That's good. That's really good, that's better than yours. I agree with that, his is dog shit though. You don't like deep dish?

[00:00:48] No, no, I like deep dish but his deep dish is not good. I know it's not. It's dense, it's too thick, it's dry. And you know what, the New York style, Ben and Susan are here because... Isn't that just thin crust? That's not just thin crust. How dare you? Can we be Detroit? Yeah. Detroit style. Okay, Detroit style. Okay, yeah. Nice caramelized crust. Yeah. Thick. Yeah. If I'm gonna be a pizza, I want to be Pequod's but if I... That's the best deep dish pizza. Okay, yeah, yeah. That's the best deep dish pizza. I want to be a little...

[00:01:18] Little Caesars, Detroit style pizza. I want to be a Little Caesars hot and ready pizza. Hot garbage. No, no, no delivery. You come pick it up. If you find yourself in the Chicago area and you are looking for the best deep dish pizza in town, Pequod's is where it at.

[00:01:32] Pequod's is where it at. Pequod's is the pizza place. Take from B-Boy Brad. Pequod's, where it at? Pequod's is the pizza place that was featured in The Bear that Richie goes and gets the pizza to give it to people who haven't had deep dish pizza yet. It is delicious. Yes, Pequod's is fantastic. So anyway, that's our little segment about pizza to start off the show. I just wanted to make fun of you for being thin crust, that's all.

[00:01:58] You shouldn't have because I love thin crust pizza and you do too. You like Aurelio's? What are you talking about? Tavern style pizza is delicious. I like a good thin crust but I don't like it as much as a deep dish. That's preposterous. You're preposterous. But you know what else is preposterous? Whatever you've got in that hand of yours that you're going to give us as the sponsor. Oh, no. What I have in my hand right now is not the sponsor but it's something that I'm sipping on. It's a little Pop-Tarts flavored buzz ball. S'mores flavored. Is that real? Yeah, it's real. I saw it earlier and I was pretty upset.

[00:02:26] They've got two Pop-Tarts flavors now. It's s'mores and they have brown sugar cinnamon. And this is the only one I've found so far. It's delicious though. And nutritious. They don't make like a fruit, like a strawberry one? No, they should though. That would be really good. Brad, buzz balls, they were not made for sipping. What were they made for? They were made for tugging. Oh. Yeah, I'm pretty sure they were made for people that are just trying to get drunk. Balls of alcohol will get you drunk. Brad's got like his pinky up while he drinks it.

[00:02:54] They're only 15%. 15% in that little ball? Well, yeah. In your balls? It's a little tiny thing. It's not even enough like a Zima. You're going to get hammered. I wish. He will get hammered. I guarantee you. That's so high. He's going to be Giggly Boy. That's a lot of... For a little... That's like three inches tall. That's like a four local level. It's not even strong. It's not... 15%? Yeah, that's a pretty strong drink. That's pretty strong. How much have you drank it so far?

[00:03:20] Like a good IPA that Nate drinks and I drink is like 6% alcohol. That's like a good... No, no, no. Yeah, but beer... My little sugar. Yeah, but also beer is for pussies. Whoa! What was this guy? Oh, and Pop-Tart Buzz Balls are for like hard asses? I'm sorry. It's called Buzz Balls. And yeah, have you ever seen a pussy in a Pop-Tart? I rest my case. You're drinking a s'mores Buzz Ball Pop-Tart thing and you called me a pussy. And you're throwing arrows? Yeah. That is a pretty big glass house.

[00:03:50] Give me a nice golden piss cold jug of beer. Yes. Yes. Yes. Give me a nice cold beer. Better yet, give me one of those quality ones that looks like shit and piss mixed together. You just... You're mad that you're drinking the Appletini. You're literally... And it's also the smallest... You think I'm mad about this? This is delicious and sweet and your beer tastes like wheat and piss. It also like is the smallest little thing. We've also found out that Brad is an angry drunk. Yeah. He's so mad. You know what? Fuck you guys.

[00:04:18] Let Sidney Sweeney like sports, okay? How many Buzz Balls did you have before you got here? Yeah. That's for me to know and the police to find out. He was juggling them because they are actual balls. Oh my God. I love juggling Buzz Balls. Okay. Listen, we need to talk about something. This is an intervention. Yeah. This is an intervention. For which one of us? Our buddy Ben. Why? Ben almost died this week. I didn't almost die. Yes, he did.

[00:04:47] I'm glad you brought this up. Oh, Jesus Christ. I didn't almost die. Let us talk. Yeah. We need to talk about this. Because I was so worried about you and the news was traveling throughout the whole freaking land that Ben Konowitz died. I didn't die. They brought you back, but like... They didn't bring you... I didn't go anywhere. Oh, really? Well, because they got the panels. Oh, if you guys can just stop talking.

[00:05:13] Here's the thing is I want you to know, and I want you to know from us... Jesus loves you. Yes. Jesus loves you, but so do we. And we don't want you to die anymore. Well... So I don't know what you need to do to get healthier. Ben, Susan, I brought you on the podcast to be guests, and I want you guys to have some time to talk here. So why don't you guys... I want you to know. R-I-G, Ben, my guy. I do think we brought them in, by the way. The people of La Porte were mourning you.

[00:05:43] I'll tell you, the people of Valpo did not know about it. So your death was... It didn't go as far as you thought it did. I went to the dragon boat races on Saturday. It's a charity event, and it takes 20 people rowing all in the same direction to win the race. And Ben said, no, I can do that myself. I said, let's do it. Charity's getting the attention. Not anymore. Not anymore. I need to have all eyes on me. So I decided to push myself a little too hard after not really sleeping all that well and having a lot on my plate and not eating and not drinking a lot.

[00:06:12] And so I accidentally kind of like, let's say just strained my heart a bit. And they called it a cardiac episode. It was nowhere near a heart attack. You don't know that. It was nowhere near... You whoopsied your way to a heart attack. I did. I went traipsing through some oopsie daisies, and I ended up at the hospital via ambulance on Saturday. And it was... I really wish I would have just drove myself because it was a lot of fanfare, and I was very embarrassed. But I did take it seriously because my chest was tight, and I couldn't breathe. As you should, by the way.

[00:06:42] I blacked out a little bit. So it was a good move. It is... I'm undergoing a stress test tomorrow. I've got a cardiologist follow-up. I'm going to be fine. It's all me. People say you lived your life like a candle in the wind. You had burned out long before. Legend never did. So anyways... Yeah, thanks. Yeah, this is what I... I'm glad you're here, Ben. To wrangle these idiots in. When the time comes... Jesus Christ!

[00:07:12] For Ben to Beth, we have to sing 10,000 Candles in the Wind. You and me both. I think you should make it about gutters somehow, though. 10,000 gutters in the wind. By the way, I am... You are the downspout for our hearts. There we go. I hate you so much. I am glad you're okay. I am too. I'd like to be around for a little bit longer. So this is the last episode of the podcast ever. Doing a buzz ball? Because I'm taking things off my plate. So thanks for Ben and Susan for being on the last episode ever.

[00:07:42] We were talking about this, though. You are in the best health that you've been in years. Yeah. You don't drink. You know, you... I've really taken it seriously. You do look good. Lost a lot of weight. Yeah, I'm down 65 pounds from last year. It doesn't matter. Still trying to take me. A lesson for all of us. It's not worth it. Yeah, it's not worth it at all. Go back the other way. So I'm going to have Taco Bells being delivered. And that's what I've been saying my whole life. And here we are. Here you are. Hey, how many cardiac episodes have you been in the hospital for in the last six months? Zero. How about me? Oh, one.

[00:08:12] Ask me the last time I even went to the hospital. Well, that's not something we've told you to go. No, no, no. I've been to the doctor. But we said, this is a moment where you could... Okay. You don't look okay. And you're like, no, I'm fine. This is how I look. This is how it goes. I'm fine. Sometimes you drown. In a buzz ball. All right. Well, moving on. Do we have a sponsor for the show? Oh, we have a sponsor. Now, don't you look at the front. United Healthcare. Don't you look at the front of this label. You open it from the back. You don't look at the front. You hear me, Nate? I'm looking at you in the eyes.

[00:08:42] I can't hear you. I cannot hear you. Oh, boy. You throw terribly. It's not a baseball. It's a candy. What was it? Susan in the face. You can't throw things at Susan. My goodness. Susan. Susan. No, you can look at the back. I'm sorry. Ben, I'm not going to look at the back. No, no.

[00:09:05] But guys, I will say, Brad kind of just like effortlessly just kind of like launched it like at a good curvature. It was a lob. It was a lob. And Susan started blinking like you were throwing a rocket at her. I fully closed my eyes. And she literally, oh, oh, oh. And it was, I'm like, what is she expecting? Were you wind up and Henry Rowan Gardner at her? Do you know what's fun is she does that no matter what is flying at her. Oh, yeah.

[00:09:32] So if you had like a, you know, you're learning how to juggle and they give you those scarves to begin with. If you threw one scarf towards you, you would blink like that? Probably. I don't like catching things. Who does? All right. We're eating this thing. Yeah, just throw this chocolate in your mouth. Wait, you guys already opened yours? Uh-huh. Oh, you just did the whole thing. Oh, yeah. Yeah, go for it. There's chocolate. Is that green apple? What is that? Yeah. Yeah, it's caramel apple, right? Yeah, it's caramel apple. Yeah.

[00:10:02] Yeah. I actually taste that for the first time ever. Yeah, this isn't good. That's 100% around the horn, guys. We did it. Is that a buzz ball? It's a caramel apple turtle. Don't do it. From who? That's just all the time. Turtle's nice. Is it caramel? That's crazy. Caramel. Frickin' time. It's a caramel turtle. Is 100% round the horn a real phrase? I've never heard that before. Just combine it for you. Don't worry. That's really good.

[00:10:31] Milk chocolate and pecan clusters with a caramel apple. Yeah, turtles. You know what? Pretty good. Not gonna lie. I've had worse things from your pocket. Do you normally like a nice caramel apple? I don't think that. I can't tell you the last time I had one. No? Not really. At like decades? I probably took a bite of the boys, you know, at like the Harvest Fest or whatever, over the, you know, whatever, last year or before or whatever, but I don't go out of my way. I never let caramel hit your teeth. You son of a...

[00:11:00] I heard what you just said. I know. Caramel. It's all right. It's caramel. There's two A's in it. It's fine. You can say it the right way. I just don't like the stickiness, guys. Not my favorite. No, it's on your teeth. Are you guys a caramel and caramel apple people? I'm into it. I think eating caramel apples is never worth the effort. Thank you. I agree. They're hard to eat. It depends. I think that if they're too cold, they can be hard to get through. Yeah, it's gotta be room temperature caramel apple. I think it also needs to be an unwaxed apple or else the caramel just comes off in like one layer. That's 100% true. Yeah.

[00:11:27] But if you get them at like an old-timey candy place, they know how to do them. Oh, yeah. They're so good. Uh-huh. That's fair. Speaking of knowing things that are good, Ben, you have your own specials special Instagram going on, don't you? I just started my own Instagram. I mean, I was inspired by one Mr. Bradford Oman. Oh, thank you so much. I was inspired by looking at Brad's junk. Who isn't? Who isn't? I was inspired. And the truth is, is that anytime I'm out in public and if I can get a pretzel, I'm going to do so.

[00:11:56] And so I just started an Instagram called Ben Rates Pretzels. Ben Rates Pretzels. Yeah. And so far, I've had it for, what, three days now? And I've eaten two pretzels. It is doing the job. I'm not going to lie. The pretzels he's had looked pretty good, too. Yeah. So we were up in Milwaukee over the weekend, and so I got one up there, and then we were in Chicago also on Saturday at a Cubs game. The Cubs pretzel looked like it was the winner. It so far is the leader, but I got to tell you, there is no way that it keeps first place

[00:12:25] for long because I know pretzel places, and we will be going back for the pretzels soon. Now, how do you feel about Ben's pretzels? Because I feel like they could go either way. I do really enjoy them. In fact, Susan and I shared Ben's pretzel on our wedding day. I'll bet you did. We stopped there. Not touching that one. Moving on. Moving on. It does have a, it's a twist braid, which is the weird part. And it doesn't hurt like you think it would. Strangely salted.

[00:12:54] But we got to make sure that we are, you know, going out there in the trend. So if anybody has any recommendations, hit me up. Well, locally here, Drift Restaurant here in town has a very, it's a steering wheel sized pretzel on their appetizer. And it's very good. So that would be my number one recommendation for La Porte, Indiana would be the Drift Restaurant. Do you just eat it plain or do you prefer some cheese? I don't want any cheese or mustard. Oh. Yeah. Because one, I'm lactose intolerant.

[00:13:23] And two, because I want to try the actual, I don't, I don't want to be masking. A purist. You know. Okay. Yeah, exactly. So. I got to have cheese in my pretzel. Who's that guy from Barstool, Dave, the guy that does the pizza. Right. Right. Now, does he just get a slice of cheese everywhere or does he get what they're known for? Like if they're known for like a bacon and whatever. He gets what they're known for. Okay. Yeah. Because I was like, I always thought to myself, if you're going to do that, you really should just have the cheese pizza from everywhere. So you just, you can minimize the variables.

[00:13:53] Right. And so that's kind of what you're doing with the pretzels, which I respect. Interesting. Yeah. And I think a lot of people rely on the cheese and the mustards to cover up a shitty pretzel. Yeah. And I don't like that. That's fair. That's fair. So. That's fair. I just like the combination of the pretzel with the cheese. That's fair. Yeah. I like a good nacho cheese or a beer cheese with my pretzel. Is that your go to? The beer cheese? Yeah. But, and yet, what about a buzz ball? Oh, a pretzel cheese buzz ball? A cheese buzz ball? Don't get him started. That sounds good. Jesus Christ.

[00:14:23] Well, this has been fun. Hey, let's start off with our friends, Ben and Susan. What's the last movie that either one of you have seen? So we took our friend's kid for his birthday to see Paw Patrol the Dino movie. Oh my goodness. And how was Paw Patrol the Dino movie? There were too many things that happened off screen. Wait, like around? There's a lot of major plot points that happened off screen. Yeah. Oh, like for the movie or in the theater? For the movie. The kid got up and ran around. On the top, they have this like daring rescue in the ocean.

[00:14:53] And right after it, they're like, all right. They send the people they're rescued back to shore because they're not really that far away. And then they're like, we got to go this way. And they head right into a hurricane. And then they're in the hurricane and they get stranded on an island. And they're like, oh, we're stranded here. This island's full of dinosaurs. No one knows it exists. And then the next frame is them bringing a bunch of journalists and scientists onto the island with all their equipment. The rescue was off screen. We don't know how they even discovered the island. The rescue was off screen. Yeah. That's so weird. It was really weird.

[00:15:23] So is, I mean, I hate to even add, was it at all, were there redeeming qualities or is it just a bad movie? So here's the thing. Yeah. Was it terrible? Yes. But we are not, you know, we don't know the lore of this show. Sure, sure. We don't know the characters. There's the, what's the name of the fire one? I don't remember any of their names. There's the fire by a dog construction dog. It's Marshall. Marshall. Yes, it is Marshall. Very good. Oh, like Fire Marshal.

[00:15:50] He's like the main character of this movie, if there is one. And he's like a bumbling fool. And it's like the lesson you're supposed to learn is that it's like accept your faults and like learn from them and just be who you are. But cops are dumb. Calm down. However. Get off your soapbox. This is the second time that you've decided to start sucking at the teat of the police. I have some very good friends that are great police officers, you fucking idiot. That's fine. Yeah.

[00:16:18] So don't disparage all people with one comment. How about that? Here comes the a few bad apples analogy. Anyway. This is what happens anytime. This is what happens in Paw Patrol. This is exactly what happened on the island. Yeah. So I would love to see you two stranded on a desert island. But anyways. I would love that. Yeah. No, I would love that. Depends on what we have with us. Buzz balls. I'm in. So at the end of the movie spoilers, they solve the problem by enslaving the bad guys on the island. Yeah. Whoa.

[00:16:48] The bad guys are slaves now. Also, it gets really dark, like Toy Story level, falling into a pit of fire dark at one point. And I was like, this is a toddler movie. Yeah. It's not even a kid movie. It's below them. Yeah. I almost watched this dog. How old was the child that you took? Five. Just turned five. Just turned five. And did they enjoy it? He loved it. Okay. Yes. He was into it. Also, he goes to the bathroom like every five minutes. Missed a lot of it. Yeah. That's why a lot of it has to happen off screen. That's why we can gloss over the rescue. A lot of stuff happened off screen anyway, so it doesn't really matter. Oh, my God.

[00:17:17] I can't believe they killed the medical dog. Medical dog. Ur. Doc. Oh, doc. Yeah. That makes sense. I called him Ur. Why? Or ER. I don't know. Paw Patrol, a lot of anti-cat propaganda. Whoa. What the shit? It's not called Dog Patrol. It's Paw Patrol. Yeah. Right? And cats have paws. Yeah. They're like really mean about the cats. That's horseshit. So in this universe, it's so weird because all the dogs can talk to each other and they can

[00:17:44] talk to humans, but the dinosaurs are like the pets. Yeah. And they can't talk to each other or anyone else. Huh. It's very strange. But there was one actually thrilling sequence in the movie, and I want to give the movie credit where credit is due. Okay. And there is a scene where Marshall, the fire dog, meets like a small dinosaur. And it's like a kid dinosaur, and so it kind of befriends him. They're playing. And then it falls into like a river, and it goes over a rapids.

[00:18:14] And so Marshall jumps in to save it. And that scene lasts maybe a minute and a half. But it is a legit like, oh, this is a good scene in a movie that makes you care about these two characters. And then they were on with some other bullshit. Right. Right. That didn't matter at all. Yeah. But they got you for about a minute and a half. And it was like, oh, there's an actual character. Stakes. There's some stakes here. There's an actual element of danger. Okay. And the character makes a proactive choice to solve a problem. And then after that, it's like, oh, we're back to silly shit. And then it cuts to Marshall and the dinosaur, and you hear one of the dogs say, wow, I

[00:18:44] can't believe you invented that time machine that allowed us to stop them from falling into the river. That's essentially what happened most of the movie. They used to have this crazy tech that they could just pull out of their ship at any second. Yeah. It was very strange. Is there anyone in the Paw Patrol who is created just to take a beating? From the other Paw Patrol members? Like the runt of the litter? Well, Marshall's whole thing is, I'm always messing up. And then they're always making fun of them. Yeah. They actually call them out constantly. Yeah. They're like, you're always making mistakes, Marshall. Nice job, you fucking dumb shit. Essentially.

[00:19:14] That's for five-year-olds, right? I don't think they're saying that. Well, you got to grow them. Grow them? Yeah. You're really on it tonight. I'm just saying, kids got to learn eventually. That's one buzz ball in, bro. Kids got to learn. They got to learn, but sometimes fire guys are pretty fucking stupid. Nice job, you piece of shit. Yeah. You always fucking up. Just like your mom. Yeah. That's why I left Brenda. You know what we should do?

[00:19:41] We should take one of the Paw Patrol movies or shorts or something and just re-dub the dialogue. I don't know. I love that you call them shorts. That makes them sound so much more sophisticated than what they are. Yeah, it's a short. Yeah. I love it. We got to do it. It would be really easy with some of the older cartoons because they didn't give a shit about mouth animation back in the day. What's the last adult film that you watched? Ew. Nope. Wrong phrasing. What's the last non-for-kids movie you watched? What is it? We saw The Odyssey twice. That took up a lot of time.

[00:20:11] We just back-to-backed it. Full Sunday. That might be the last one. That might be it. No, that's okay. It happens to the best of us. Trust me. I get it. Oh, shut up, Ben. Jesus Christ. Oh, I'm so busy. I'm not bad for movies. Are there Chuckles? What's the last movie you saw, idiot? I saw Practical Magic 2. Fun. Nate, how about you? What's the last movie? It was Practically Magical. I heard it's not very good. No, I liked it, actually. I thought it was exactly what it was supposed to be. Which is?

[00:20:41] It was just charming. A little bit of witchcraft and a fun little story and a little bit higher stakes. They did Hocus Pocus 2, right? Yeah. And is it better than Hocus Pocus 2? Um, I would say in relation to its previous installment, to its predecessor, same quality level. Same tick up or down? Yeah. It's down for sure. Okay. But, you know, but fine. Serviceable. Did you really like this? I really did.

[00:21:11] Genuinely, yeah. Like, it's solid. Okay. Yeah. Don't have... I said okay. Don't have much to complain about. Did you see it by yourself? Yeah, just by myself. Just one set, you know, with a bunch of ladies dressed in their witchcraft gear. Were they really dressed up? No. Well, I mean, actually, so I went with my girlfriend, Caitlin, to a press screening. And there were people from the public who were there also. And there were a lot of women who were, like, dressed up in kind of witchy, you know, wardrobe stuff and whatnot. Whatever Practical Magic is in the first place missed me completely. I don't even know what this is. I don't either. I'm like, there's a Practical Magic 2?

[00:21:41] I didn't see the first one until a few weeks ago, actually. And so, is it a 90s movie? Yeah. It came out in 95. I think, 94. And it's the kind of movie they really don't make anymore. There's a little bit of romance, a little bit of sisterhood, and then there's also witchcraft tied into it. And so, it's, like, just a mid-budget movie that mixes... Is it like Hocus Pocus, though? Like family? 1998. Oh, okay. It's not as... Because I remember things like that being, like, The Craft. Yeah, it's more so...

[00:22:09] Somewhere in between Hocus Pocus and The Craft is kind of where the tone is. Yeah, it's not as dark as The Craft. No, not at all. And it's not as light and silly as Hocus Pocus. Gotcha. Okay, so it found its practical endgame there. Yeah. In the middle of the magic. Yeah. Okay, that's fair. Nate Dogg. Yeah. How about you? What's the last movie you saw, buddy? I saw a documentary. I'm a big fan of music documentaries. Oh, yeah. And there's a new music documentary out called Oasis. I knew it. Don't look back in anger. Did you see it yet? No, I've heard it's good, though. It is very good.

[00:22:39] Okay, but, like, if you went into this film like I did and wanting all of the, like, I just kind of, you know, the Gallagher brothers, they're fighters, right? And so I kind of wanted them to, like, tell the stories of all the fights and the walking off of stage and, you know, all the, but that wasn't it. The purpose of this is to show that they're- Reconcile. Yeah. Yeah. How it's back together. And they didn't really get into a lot. I mean, I think they're just assuming, you know, they're a hot mess, right?

[00:23:08] And so the documentary is more saccharine. It's a little more like, how do these two brothers who have historically been just awful to each other, how do they get back to doing a world tour? And it's a lot of fun. They're naturally very petty and funny. And so there's some good humor in there as well. Just them talking. I mean, they're all kind of like, they're all very full of themselves.

[00:23:37] For a band that's just had one really good album. But- That was the striking thing about the Gallaghers as people is that, like, we're all in the world. Like, we all see what you've produced. And, like, early on, when that first, when that, when the, whatever album had Wonderwall on it. Don't look back in anger, isn't it? Okay. So that album hits. And it was a phenomenon, right? And then they were talking like they were going to, they were bigger than the Beatles. And they still think they are.

[00:24:07] Yeah. But what has really happened in the real world to say that they are that, are they, am I missing something? Are they really that talented? Well, I'll say this. I mean, they're big because they're selling out stadiums, right? I mean, people are still- I'm not sure they're Beatles big, but they are- Yeah, and they're not Beatles big. I think they're only big now, though, because they famously broke up. And people want to see the reunion tour before they break up again. I mean, I think that's part of it. But, like, I mean, even when there was the possibility of them not touring at all, like,

[00:24:36] there, people have been diehard before. Who's the- Sorry, it's not- It's, uh, What's the Story of Morning Glory? Oh, that's right. That's right. Yep. Who's the gentleman that's a heartthrob singer from, let's say, the 90s, 2000s? Robbie- Manilow. Nope. No. Rob Thomas? Oh, Robbie Williams. Robbie Williams. Okay. So I had no context for how big that guy was. Dude's huge. And then if you talk about how, like, British people lose their minds, right? That's a little different because he is more big overseas in Europe and UK and stuff,

[00:25:04] but Oasis is big, like, fucking everywhere. They've done well, but it's- they had one colossal album, right, that was really defining of, like, mid-90s, you know, alternative stuff. But it is a lot of fun. If you like music documentaries, this isn't, like, a gritty documentary, but it is a lot of fun. It's on Disney+, right? Yeah. Yeah. Yep.

[00:25:34] Do they get into the watermelon-smashing era of the galleries at all? Oh, boy. Don't take from me. I'm just curious. That's a Benjo. You take- Have you guys ever seen Gallagher Live? No. Because I have. Really? I got to go on stage and smash something. You did? Yeah. Oh, man. How long ago was this? It was when I was in college, so this was probably 03. Was he racist then, too? I don't think so. Oh, he's pretty racist now. Well, he's dead now.

[00:26:04] Oh, well, that's still racist. Pretty sure he's dead. Is he? Did he die? I'm pretty sure he died. Are we breaking his death on this one? He did die in 2022. Yeah, he died about four years ago. Breaking news. For Ben and Susan. Turns out, well, if you smash that many watermelons, it's hard on your heart. It's true. So, Ben, wait about two. I've really got to stop smashing those watermelons, and I've got to start smashing those grilled chicken breasts. Is Peter Gallagher in the documentary? Stop doing this bit.

[00:26:34] I just want to know. Stop it right now. And his eyebrows? You're the worst. His eyebrows are actually Liam and Noel Gallagher. Brad, this is how many buzz balls in? Just one? I'm not even done with this one. Oh, boy. I watched the documentary as well, Nate. I've got a fourth piece of all the chug. What'd you watch? I watched the Mr. T documentary. Oh. Was it good? It was pretty much exactly what you think it's going to be, giving you who he really was from back in the day.

[00:27:04] You could read an article about him and be like- It really hones in on that one good album he had. Now, it was- yeah. It's featuring him. Terry Crews is about the biggest talking head they get to talk about his influence on- And that's a big noggin. It's got its own weather system. What are you doing? That's why I married an expert. It's a movie podcast, isn't it? Oh, my God. Jesus. Try and keep up, okay? All right. So, anyway.

[00:27:34] I wish they could have gotten Stallone to talk about him. Because, again, this is just Mr. T talking about Mr. T with a couple of talking heads around him. So, it's not the effort that you would have loved to see. And, you know, respect where respect's due, right? But, I feel like they kind of gloss over the bridges burned part of it. I mean, is it- is it a- like, do they go- it's only like 48 minutes. Yeah. Do they go through his whole life? It's an untold- Oh. Are you right there, buddy?

[00:28:05] I just saw it on Netflix when I was recovering from my heart attack, so I just figured I'd watch it. Yeah. I'm always- I always am intrigued when I see those pop up on Netflix, but then I see it's an untold episode, and I would just rather see a full feature length thing. And that's the thing. I mean, like, for the budget, whatever they had, blah, blah, blah. I get it. But it definitely showed his rise coming from the project and literally nothing and making his own way. I get that. Yeah. But it really glosses over the fact that he then assumed that he was only- his manager was in there, like his previous booking talent manager, whatever.

[00:28:33] And he was- he at least let us know, like, it got to the point where, you know, T wasn't getting into the car unless it was a white stretch limo to take you to the promo he wanted you to do. He'd sell out for anything, you know, the money is good, this and that, but he needed to be treated like royalty. And when he wasn't, I heard about it, you know? So he definitely got too big for his britches in that way. And then, of course, he lost all his money, and now he's just- And I'm an idiot about this, but, like, I'm not- I'm the one in the room not familiar with the T story. But was he a wrestler before he was an actor?

[00:29:03] No, so he was- he was literally- he was- he was found on a show called something like Made in America or, like, Happening in America, and they had an episode about bodyguards. And he was a bodyguard at a club, and he had the look, the bald head, and he was a big dude. And then Stallone saw that and then auditioned him for- for that. And so he- one interesting thing was he said that the script called for Clubber Lang to have a Jamaican accent.

[00:29:33] And T was like, I don't want to speak like that. So he got a bunch of albums and listened to reggae and, like, tried to do it. And he was getting a Jamaican accent down, and then Stallone called and said, never mind, just be yourself, because we want that Southside Chicago kind of, like, you know, brutalist. And so that's what he did, and he didn't need to audition again, and he got the part. But then that went from that to the A-Team and to the Saturday Morning Cartoon. And he had about the biggest 1986, 1987 you could probably have as an entertainer.

[00:30:00] And then he did WrestleMania because he met Hogan on Rocky III because he played Thunderlips. So it all kind of coalesced in the late 80s. He was everywhere. And then it completely just went away. They don't ever address why, but you can just see through the evidence of, like, oh, you just were demanding a million dollars a minute to do anything, and then you just- you're kind of starved. Did they eventually circle back around to, like, what he's done more recently? Yes. Like, I don't have a chance at meatballs and Dancing with the Stars and all that stuff? They didn't talk about any of that. What the fuck?

[00:30:29] Did Mr. T do Dancing with the Stars? I see. That wasn't even in there. So maybe they couldn't get the rights to this. I'm pretty sure he did. I don't think he did. Well, either way. No, he did. He's a man of God now. Suck on that! And he really wants to- He's a big part of the church that he's in now, and he's doing it for, I would say, what are the right reasons now. He's clearly learned a lot in his life. He seemed a little more humble now? Totally. Completely changed person. So, you know, it was interesting enough, but I really wish they would have gotten, you know, the people that really knew him back then.

[00:30:56] And the Rise and Fall stuff, kind of like in a music documentary, like Michael or Bohemian Rhapsody, you're not going to really see, because they've got authority over it, right? And T clearly has an authority over this one, so whatever. But I saw that. And then I also saw Dungeons and Dragons again. Oh, you said to re-watch it? Well, the boys hadn't seen it. Oh, okay. And I liked it a lot more this time around. The movie's super fun. Yeah, it was way better this time around. Yeah, it's awesome. I don't know what was going on. I've seen it three times now. Because I watched it once, and I didn't like it at all.

[00:31:26] Then I watched it the second time, and I was watching it to like it, because I heard everybody else liked it, and I was like, what is going on here? And I guess maybe I was just not in a great mood the first two times, because I really enjoyed it this time. It's really good. Yeah. It was a lot more fun. So there you go. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Yeah, those are the ones I watched. Yeah. You have to re-watch Mashes the Universe when you're in a better mood, too. That's what we watched most recently, actually. We did watch it. And Susan forgot about it. I'm trying to remember what movie we watched just at home, and it was that. It was fun. Oh, and we watched Mortal Kombat 2. Oh, yeah.

[00:31:56] We watched Mortal Kombat 2. That's dog shit. It was awesome. Mortal Kombat 2 or Mashes the Universe? Mortal Kombat 2. Oh, Mortal Kombat 2 sucks. It's a bad movie. It's like watching a Looney Tunes episode. It is silly fun. I would rather watch Mortal Kombat Annihilation again for silly fun than Mortal Kombat 2, which doesn't feel like it knows what it is. But that could be so bad, it's good territory, then. Yeah. But that's the problem. I don't think so. Because if it's taking itself very seriously, then that is that territory.

[00:32:23] But it's not taking itself seriously enough where it's that bad. Because the stuff with Johnny Cage and the comedy side does lean into it in the right way, but it doesn't mesh well with the side that takes itself too seriously. And it just feels like a mishmash of two different movies competing to try and be one. I'm still going to watch it. You should watch it so you can be disappointed. I mean, I... So wait, what did you think of Mashes the Universe? Okay, so Susan, why don't you go first on that one? I don't know. I didn't... I mean, it was fine, I guess.

[00:32:53] I wasn't a fan. I just thought it was fine. I thought it was great. Yes. Thank you, Ben. In that it was pure 80s nonsense, which is what He-Man is. Yeah. And it leaned into what it... The source material, which is supposed to be silly fun. And I liked the characters, especially like Idris Elba in it, who was just like... Yeah. I just thought it winked too hard. I thought it just... It played upon that way too heavy. No, you're wrong. Okay, fair enough.

[00:33:20] I think the only thing that I got very distracted by is every time the tiger talked, it went behind people because they couldn't animate the mouth to make it look... Oh, that's interesting. That's interesting. That's funny. And so it was just like... I didn't realize that. I'm going to have to go re-watch that now. Oh, yeah. I re-watched the whole movie for that now. Yep. No, re-watched it because it's fucking good, Ben. Yeah, right. Whatever. You know what I did actually watch last night when I was recovering? Who cares? I watched Starship Troopers. Oh, that's a great movie. That's a great movie. It's a great movie. Yeah. Yeah. Phenomenal. It really is.

[00:33:47] The propaganda aspect of it all and just like what they were doing with that film was just... And the budget they must have had for the extras and the outfits and the uniforms and the set pieces and everything. It's wild, dude. They gave them money to make that movie. Rat Chick was on... They did have a $100 million budget in 19... What? 97? 98? Really? Yeah. Crazy budget movie. Rat Chick was on a flight that I was on. I didn't realize it was him until I was already past him. Otherwise, I would have said, welcome to the Roughnecks when I walked past him.

[00:34:16] It's also got quite a few people in it that you forget are in it. Michael Ironside obviously is fantastic. Fantastic. But that's a little Jake Busey in there, which I did not remember. But gosh darn, does that face never go away. I went to sleep last night and I saw Jake Busey for sure. It is startling. He's terrifying. He's terrifying. Yeah. Yeah. But no, overall, obviously, great movie. He plays a serial killer in the movie The Frighteners. Yes.

[00:34:45] And it is so good. He is so scary. He's also super scary in Contact and he only has a small role. And it's mostly because he's just silent and staring at Jodie Foster in the creepiest way He plays that fanatic. Yeah. Yeah. He's just, he can play creepy real well. Yeah. He's also in Beverly Hills Chihuahua 3. He was creepy as shit. There's a scene in there that just gets me every time. He plays a dead-eyed chihuahua. Yeah. But that river rescue scene, pretty good. They got him. They got him.

[00:35:13] He's in a movie called Nazis at the Center of the Earth. Have you guys seen this? Have you seen this? Ben Conowitz, right? What? Why would it be me? Nazis starring him and Dominique Swain. Oh. Ben? No. I've not seen Nazis at the Center of the Earth. That is a real movie from 2012. 2012? Yeah. Okay. Jake Busey. Okay. Firing on all cylinders, everybody. Wow. Who would you rather kiss? Nope. Jake Busey or Gary Busey?

[00:35:42] In their, both in their primes? No. No, now. Or now. Now. Right as he's from Under Siege, from the movie Under Siege. Oh, okay. All right. Mr. Joshua. I'd probably kiss Mr. Joshua. Yeah, but there's not a lot of people you wouldn't kiss, let's be honest. Well, this is an either or, and you asked me, and I told you. I was being honest. That's fine. You know, I don't want to play your games anymore. You just did. I didn't mean to. No. Is that all this stupid moosh? Yeah.

[00:36:12] All right. You want to play some games? Well, that's what we wanted to do. Yeah, let's play some games. Okay, then fucking do it. Oh, all right. Well, let me get out the games. Oh, get out your computer. Yeah, I actually wrote a couple games. All right. I did. All right, everybody. Hope you're ready for games. What are you doing? Do your song. I'm trying to pull it up right now. Do your song for the games. No, I'm not. Yeah. Do the song. You know, I. You wanted to do it. I watched a video the other day about this. Games?

[00:36:39] No, it struck me as to why nobody can get what I'm saying in my head. You're dumb. It was a study that was done where people that know music really, really well, know a song really, really well and have to tap it out for strangers. And they rated themselves like nine out of 10. There's no way that the stranger won't get this. Like, this is exactly this song. And nobody, not one person was able to discern the song that they were doing. They just heard random tapping. Okay.

[00:37:09] And it's such that in my head, I know that the melody that I'm doing for the whatever trailer song I'm trying to is the song. But then it's to you guys and everyone else listening. There's just absolutely no way that that's the song. But what's the explanation? Like, you're just bad at it? Just the better you know something, the better you hear it in your head clearly, the harder it is to communicate that to because you can't get out of your own way. So wait, what? You're telling me that you know this song so well that it's so hard. I'm so good at knowing this song.

[00:37:39] How do me and Nate know the songs that we're doing then? Oh, because we actually can make them sound like the songs? So that's the thing. In that one, it was just tapping, right? So there's no real way to put a tone in the tap. It's just tapping. But for me, I can't sing. Yeah, exactly. So I'm just toned in. You're not tapping the song. I was trying to connect the two so you guys would give me a pass. But it didn't work the way I wanted it to. I can't wait to hear this song. You're not just tone deaf. You are also rhythm.

[00:38:08] I might actually be a little deaf. Just deaf. Sometimes it's not even the right rhythm. Yeah. Don't look at the answers. Deaf, dumb, and blind. Come on. Let's do the game song. And don't do the stupid one. No, I'm not doing the stupid one. Do the good one. I'm going to do the good one. Yeah. I do the good one. I do the good one.

[00:38:38] Good radio here. We can cut all this out. No, we're not cutting it. We're cutting it all out. I'm not cutting anything. But I can't think of anything. You know, the song they do in Practical Magic is Put the Lime in the Coconut. There we go. Do it. I don't even know that song. What? Everyone on earth knows that song. Yeah. Put the lime in the coconut? Literally, our listeners are in their coconut. They're all sold out right now. Put the lime in the coconut. I said, doctor. There's nothing I can take. I said, doctor. See? Everybody knows. All right.

[00:39:08] Now, you do it. I've heard the lime in the coconut bit. I've never heard the doctor thing. Ever. Whoa. Is that a real part of it? Yes. Are you kidding me? I look to you like, what the hell are you doing? See, but that explains a lot because you always know one very important part of a song and then you just wander into nothing. Yeah. Josie's on a vacation far away and then she's on vacation. Sometimes she likes to go on vacation. Sometimes I've been on vacations too.

[00:39:34] He sings a line and then walks away from the song while still singing the song. Yeah. Exactly. He's got musical ADHD. Exactly. Hey, watch some trailers. See, that would have been great for Matt Macarena and a trailer song, but we're playing games. Yeah. So just redo it. Hey, playing games. Now, do that part. It's the same way. I should have done the... Games. See, I don't even know what he's doing. What is that?

[00:40:04] Tequila. Oh. Oh, is that what that was? That is not tequila. No, it's not. Tequila. See? I was telling you. It was perfect in my head. It felt like at the end of an episode. That sounds like a song you've never heard before. Yeah. See? Yeah, that one. Games. Just the laziest. He's the laziest. He's awful. No, you don't get to do the thing that Brad and I do. You're not a part of this group. This is a super group. You guys make it so hard to be your friend.

[00:40:34] Yeah. He's the Liam to my Noel. Game one. We're going to do a bit of a throwback here. We're going to do some games from the Doug Loves movies era. So we haven't played How Much Did This Shit Make in a Long Time. Oh, my God. So I'm going to give you a movie that did not fare too well on Rotten Tomatoes. You're just going to guess the closest without going over. Millions of dollars. Domestic box office only. In the year of release, no re-releases counted. How much, Susan, do you think that Air Bud made in domestic theaters?

[00:41:04] The original Air Bud? The original Air Bud. Not worldwide. Worldwide it killed. Closest without going over. Statistically. Worldwide it killed. Did not get a worldwide release at all. Man, I'm going to guess, I don't know, 10 million. 10 million. Ben Bloom? Are we doing an entire theatrical run? Entire theatrical run. $42 million. Brad? 23 million. 24 million.

[00:41:32] And I'll guess, I'm looking at the answer, so I can't. Brad, you are the closest without going over. Yes! Air Bud, $23,144,499. Oh, no! 23 was what I was going to guess, actually. You get to go first this time. In the sequel, Golden Receiver was released in the theaters. Wow, was it really? How much did it make? I'm going to say $4 million. Okay, Ben Bloom? $5 million. Susan? I'm guessing $15 million. I think it grew. Nate?

[00:42:02] $1.7 million. All right. Who was the highest there? Susan, you had $15 million. Unfortunately, that's over, but not by much. It made $10,244,000. So, Ben, I believe you were closest without going over. All right. Game number two here. We're going to do a game called Role Play. Oh, I wasn't done with that one. That was a fun game. Go back to that one. Just make up another one. I can easily make up another one. Do you want to do another one real quick? No. You ready? Do Air Bud 3. Yeah, Air Bud 3. Nope.

[00:42:35] I got another one for you. I got one. Brad, Nate, everybody. Nate, you can go first. How much did the movie Norbit make? Worldwide? Global? We're going to go domestic box office only. Okay. Norbit made... No, actually, let's go worldwide because that's the one that pops up. Okay. That changes things. I'm going to go with $49 million. $49 million worldwide.

[00:43:02] Brad, you'll go last because you know about the industry. Ben, what do you think? $1. Susan? I'll do $30 million. Brad? $21 million. Worldwide, it made $159 million. Holy shit! What? Domestic gross, it made $95.7 million. Of course it did. No way. $95.7 million. It's Eddie Murphy, right? Eddie Murphy. Yeah, it's Eddie Murphy. Because that's the first big bomb, right? So then after that, nobody trusted him. But that first weekend, man... No, he had the bomb before that.

[00:43:32] Okay, fair enough. But also, people do go see Eddie Murphy movies. And actually, I think that... It did $30 million its opening weekend. I think that what it might be a product of is... People do love Eddie Murphy, for sure. But that was the first movie that came out after Dreamgirls. And so people were high on Eddie Murphy at the time. And so I bet you that's a... That was after Dreamgirls? That was actually the reason that a lot of people thought that he lost the Oscar. That Dreamgirls got made. Oh, wow. Is because Norbit came out and it really just left a bad taste in voters' mouths. That's crazy. Like, oh no.

[00:44:02] Yeah, we're not giving an Oscar to that guy. Mortal Kombat 2, Ben Bloom. How much do you think that made at the worldwide box office? Worldwide? Worldwide. The new one? Box office mojo, it says it grossed approximately what in 2026? I'm going to say $75 million. Nate Dogg? This is worldwide. See, this is... Yeah. Worldwide. Worldwide's harder. I know. I know. $150 million. Okay, Brad? $151.

[00:44:32] Worldwide, it did $129. Ooh. See? Dang it. I almost said $120. Domestic did about $80. Okay. $80. Oh, so it did better domestically? I thought they'd do better like... Now, again, this is the... I'm seeing Wikipedia as the AI overview source here. And so, because again, I'm just typing these things in real quick. So just so you know, I am using the whatever fucking thing that pops up. You can just go to actual Wikipedia instead of using the fucking Google AI bullshare. Well, I just like literally just type in Google. No, no. I know. That's fine. Just don't do it though.

[00:45:01] Just don't use it. Just one click you got to make. Yeah. All you have to do is go into an actual website. Well, yeah. But then it goes here. And then I have to scroll and find it. Oh, no. You got to do a little bit of work, huh? Well, yeah. Because we're on the air. So if you guys want to sit here and wait for me to do it. It's tough to verify information. It's really tough. I was going to ask for a glass of water, but there's probably none left from your AI. Yeah. Stupid Google. Hey, why don't you make an image of you like, I don't know, humping a mailbox. Oh, I can do that. Yeah, I know you can. Hold on real quick. All right. Next game. A game called Role Play where I'm going to give you the roles an actor or actress has played.

[00:45:31] Starting with, I'm going to give you 10 roles. We're just going to start obscure and we're going to get really well known by the end. When you know, you only get one guess this entire game. So when you know, you know, and you need to buzz in. So Brad, what's your buzzer going to be? One more time. Nate, what's your buzzer going to be? Susan? And Ben Bloom. I have an answer. Okay. It's going to be, I have an answer. All right.

[00:45:59] Remember, you only get one guess this entire game. The entire one. There are 10 names I'm going to read. Okay. You get one guess. So you got to wait until you know it. All right. The first name that I've got for you is Wace. The second name, Jack Willis. Jack Willis. The next name after that is going to be Wyatt Bowes.

[00:46:29] You can go faster. And then Bronson Perry. Charlie Kenton. Keller Dover. Robert. And is it Angier? Angier? It's spelled A-N-G-I-E-R. Angier? Or Angier? Angier. Angier. Robert Angier. Nothing? Nobody? No.

[00:46:59] Jean Valjean. Hey. Bradford. You don't know what it is. I have an answer. Yep. Is it Hugh Jackman? It is Hugh Jackman. Hey. For a second, I second guessed myself. And I wasn't sure if Russell Crowe was Jean Valjean. No. Russell Crowe would never be a Jean Valjean. I always confuse Javert and Jean Valjean, the character names. Angier is from The Prestige. It is from The Prestige. Keller Dover is from Prisoners. And Charlie Kenton is from Real Steel.

[00:47:29] And Bronson Perry is from Eddie the Eagle. I knew Charlie Kenton sounded familiar. The other ones were some really old ones that he was in. All right. We need a name. What was the top one? Greatest Showman? Logan. Oh. From Logan. Logan. But P.T. Barnum was second to last. So there you go. Now I need a name for Last Man Stanton so I can play along as well. So we could either decide on one or I could just go to a random actor generator type thing and put one in.

[00:47:58] Yeah. But I'd like to play this one too. Okay. So what do you want to do? Just kind of decide on? Maybe Ben and Susan could grab a name? Sure. Just anybody that has a... The way this game works is it's like Last Man Standing. It was for Doug Benson's game Last Man Stanton. Yeah. You just name an actor or actress with a large body of work and then we go systematically through it and name a name and... Go 100% around the horn. 100%. That's a nice callback. I'll give you that. But the catch is you have to get the full title of the movie exactly correct for its account. Yes.

[00:48:27] And there are no passing so once you can't come up with one you are out. Also can't phone a friend. No phoning a friend as Nate tries to do every single time we play this game. Can't also look it up on the internet. Yeah. We would love it for your laptop to be working. A lot of you guys have laptops. Exactly. Susan what do you think? I'd say actor. Actor or actress with a large body of work. I'll do Anne Hathaway. Anne Hathaway it is. Go ahead and start off. We'll go to Ben next and then Brad and me and then Nate. Why are we ending with me? Okay we'll go to you next.

[00:48:56] We'll go to you next buddy. The Devil Wears Prada. The Devil Wears Prada. Nate. The Devil Wears Prada 2. Okay. Alright. I'm going to go. Electric Boogaloo. I'm going to go The Dark Knight. And you're going to lose. You're out. She's only in The Dark Knight Rises? Yeah. Oh shit I forgot. You're so dumb. What an idiot. I thought she was in the second one. What an idiot. The Dark Knight Rises. Oh she doesn't even have a cameo in the first one? No. In the second one? No. Oh darn it.

[00:49:28] How did you say that one? You didn't see that movie. I did not see that movie. Oh I might be out. A lot of times she wears a hat. Hmm. Mary Poppins. No it's just what Doug Benson used to say on the show. He's like a lot of times she wears a hat. I know a movie she's in but I can't remember the name of it. How about one you've maybe seen pretty recently? Let me just throw it out. What? It's really long. She's not in Mortal Kombat. And we saw it too. She's not in Mortal Kombat.

[00:49:58] The Odyssey. But I understand if you don't count that. I want to count that because I just want to see if Nate has anything left. I honestly got it. No matter what you said it was right. Because we're going to Nate. The Intern. Yeah. That's what I was trying to think of. Okay. Alright. Nate had one in his pocket there. Brad? Brokeback Mountain. Brokeback Mountain it is. Ben Bloom. Are we allowed to do movies that are not been released yet? No. Okay. In that case, Anne Hathaway has been in several films. Les Miserables. You're one. Yes.

[00:50:28] I love it. Princess Diaries 2. What's the full title, Nate? Electric Boogaloo. I don't know. Do you want to guess at one? Return to Genovia. That would be a good title for it, but that is not the title. That sounds real. That's the third one. They are working on a third one. That's not what it's called. Do you know? I do. So, I don't know. What is it? It's Princess Diaries 2, but I don't know if it's The Royal Engagement or Royal Engagement. Okay. Alright. Kudos to you. I'm out. Alright. So, what are you going to name one then? Rachel Getting Married. Okay.

[00:50:58] Oh, yeah. Ocean's 13. No. No. Ocean's 8. No! We knew what you meant. Let's just see if Brad's got a capper. Yeah, we'll allow it. Brad, you got a capper? Rio. I didn't know if she was in that. She's not. You could have been making it up right now. Anne Hathaway. Anne Hathaway. Has been in a lot of movies. Old Annie. Call her.

[00:51:29] She's not in Old Annie, actually. She's not even in Annie. I think I'm out. I can't think of anything. You could have said Rio 2. What was the... Just called Rio 2. The only other one I had at all was Colossal. It's a good one, yeah. I like that film. What else you got, Brad? Any more? We're doing her a disservice, as always. We always do everybody a disservice. We never remember any of these films. Mother Mary. Mother Mary? It just came out earlier this year.

[00:51:59] It's good. She... What else was she in? Get Smart? Get Smart. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Is Verity out yet? No, not out yet. Alice in Wonderland. End of Oak Street. Oh, yeah. Oh, End of Oak Street just came out. Yeah, duh. I was trying to think of the other one. Damn it. Yeah, that was pretty exciting. Don John. Mm-hmm. She has a really bit part in that one, actually. She's in a fake movie. Did anybody say Interstellar? No. Oh, my God. Idiots. The Hustle? Which one is that? I don't know.

[00:52:29] Oh, did it say Colossal or no? Bend. At the end, yeah. Alice Through the Looking Glass. Oh, she's in the sequel. Okay. Love and Other Drugs. Mm-hmm. The Witches. Yeah. That was a movie I forgot about. Hood Winked. I like that movie. There's some other indies that she's in. Ella Enchanted? Yeah, another fantasy one. I forget she's in that because she's in Princess Diaries. Yeah. Yeah. All right. Well, there's a lot of them there. There's a bunch of indies that you're in.

[00:52:58] It is just royal engagement. Good to know. Right? Just to let you know there. All right. What is the next game I wrote here? All right. Last game of the night. Here we go. This is called Chris, Chris, Chris, and Chris. Ah. So we know four pretty famous Chrises in the film industry. Chris Evans, Chris Pratt, Chris Pine, and- Chris Sarandon. Chris Hemsworth. Oh. You know them personally?

[00:53:26] Just like we know that those are four pretty famous Chrises. Brad has met Chris Hemsworth. I've actually met Chris Evans as well. He's met two of the four. But you think Hemsworth's handsomer? Yes. Okay. Was Evans disappointing? No, it was disappointing, but it was just Chris Hemsworth. Was he more charming, Chris Hemsworth? Yes. Well, I mean, yeah, in a different way. Chris Hemsworth is funnier. So like, but Chris Evans was perfectly, you know, nice too. Acceptable. He was acceptable to you? Yes.

[00:53:56] Good. I would give him a kiss. All right. All right. So there's three games within a game here. These are very short, but they're fun. So- We'll see. They're fun to me. Fuck you guys. They're already fun to me. I don't care. I'm comfortable. It's fun. This is good. You're going to have so much fun. These are stupid and you'll have no fun. All right. So these Chris's are very famous now, but they- They won't be. They're long. They had roles early in their career that some might say breakout roles or just, you

[00:54:26] know, for their first couple of things that they did. So I'm going to give you, you got to match the character to the movie. And so I'm going to- Do you have to give the character name or the actor? I'm going to give you the character name. Okay. And then you're going to give me, which Chris does that sound like? Mm-hmm. And we're just going to keep going until somebody gets more than one right. True. So it is one of the four is the answer. It's going to be one of the four. Okay. One of the four Chris's. All right. So there's a movie. Are we buzzing in or-

[00:54:54] I'm just going to, I'm going to go- Around the horn? I'm going to go Around the horn. Around the horn. We'll see how this works. Okay. Brad, there is a movie from the year 2000 where there's a character named Judd. Which Chris would that be? 2000. Yep. Character named Judd. We're going to need an answer. I'm going to say Chris Pratt. That's incorrect. Mm-hmm. Ben Bloom, there's a movie from 2000. I think it's Chris Evans. It is Chris Evans. Yeah.

[00:55:25] Congratulations. Now, bonus point if you can name the movie. Is it? I'm between two. I think one of them is wrong. What's the train movie? Shit. What's the train movie? Oh. Are you thinking about Sunshine? No. That's not a train movie. What's the one in the space movie? That's Sunshine. It's not a train movie. What's the train movie? I don't know what he's talking about. You know what I'm talking about.

[00:55:54] Yeah, I know exactly what you're talking about. It's not that, probably. It's directed by the... The scam guy that directed Sunshine. No. No, it's not directed by Danny Boyle. Yeah. It's the movie where all society lives on a train. Yeah, yeah. Oh, Snowpiercer. Snowpiercer. Yeah. Of course I can draw that. Like Sunshine. No, Snowpiercer came on like 2009 or something. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. This is... Oh, got it. We're going to say that you got Chris Evans correct.

[00:56:20] Nate, in 2003, this person played a character named Kenan. What Chris was it? Do we not get to find out what movie that Judd is from? I'm not done with this. Oh, okay. I'm going to say Chris Pine. That is incorrect. Brad, there's a movie from 2003. Susan hasn't gone yet. The character... But he doesn't like women. Go ahead. I was wondering. Why don't you give women a chance, Ben?

[00:56:49] I think he acquitted me with Ben. I was going to let them be because they were helping each other. Oh. Is that not... Wow, real nice. Oh. You know what? Pretending like he didn't... So she's half a person. He didn't even see you. He didn't literally see you. Susan. Yeah, and you know what, Ben? And you can vote for her, too. I can only be... Susan, in 2004, there was a character named Nicholas. Nicholas Nickleby. Nicholas, not Nickleby. Just Nicholas. 2004, Nicholas. Saint Nicholas.

[00:57:19] Is that Chris Pratt? No. It is not Chris Pratt. Yeah. All right. So, Brad... It was Santa Claus. We're going to go with 2003. Uh-huh. There's a character named Kenan. Yeah. Who was playing that? Oh, that's going to be my good buddy, Chris Pratt. It is Chris Pratt. Oh. And what movie is that, buddy? I'm going to say it's Wanted. It is not Wanted. Shit. But that's very, very, very not close at all. Ben, we're back to you. 2009.

[00:57:48] Am I speaking for myself or myself am I one? You're going to... As every other day, you're going to speak only for yourself because you're a good person. 2009. Uh... 2009. This person played George. 2009. 2009. Quit putting other words in there, Nate. It sounds like I said it on the podcast because our voices are enough. It's like George of the Jungle. No, it's not that. It's just George. I would say Chris Hemsworth. It is Chris Hemsworth.

[00:58:17] And can you name the film? Extraction. Incorrect. No, I know the film. Good for you. We're moving on. I know it. I know it. Everyone should know it. It's so good. Wait, George? Yeah. 2009? Yeah. Yeah, 2009. Chris Hemsworth. Sex. Early career. Shut up, Nate. Shut up, Nate. I can't hear you. It would be early. The other hitters, this is very early on in their career. Unlike you guys, I help women. Wow. She doesn't need your help. She's a strong, independent woman. No, she was looking at me like, hey, help me.

[00:58:47] And I'm like, I can give you the answer. Oh, that's what they always say. Oh, whoa! Brad! What? That didn't come up the way you wanted to talk about it. I know the answer to that. No, no, no. That's not fair? Because you know what I meant. You're a pig. You're a pig. You piece of shit. Oh, I believe women. You're terrible. And here we are, 2026. Ethan underscore undertone. Well, the only thing about that is you didn't see that coming. Wow. Wow. Wow.

[00:59:17] You are sick. Anyway, back to Susan, whose time it is, not yours. Who does get at least a partial vote. I get a little bit of one. I don't know where the hell we are in this game anymore, and it doesn't really matter. We were trying for Star Trek. Oh, my God. George Kirk. Yeah, George Kirk. He was really good, too. So, Ben, you win. Yeah, of course. Okay. But the year 2000, Chris Evans was in a movie called The Newcomers.

[00:59:46] Oh, yes. And Kenan, played by Chris Pratt in The Extreme Team. Yes. You don't even know what that is. Shut up. Nicholas Devereaux in The Princess Diaries 2 Royal Engagement. You don't know what that is. You didn't even know it was The Royal Engagement. So, for the winner, Ben, here is one bonus game for you, sir. Besides Infinity War, name a movie for each Chris that has the word war in the title. Ooh. Ooh. Besides Infinity War. Ooh.

[01:00:16] And the other hint is these are all four individual films that each actor has been in. They may or may not be in it with other Chris's from this list, but we're looking for four individual titles, four individual movies. Okay. There's the shitty action movie that Chris Pratt did for Amazon. We'll count that. That's The Tomorrow War. Yeah, tomorrow. Thank you. I would not have come up with that. Nope. That's okay. We're going to give you that one because if you can describe it, I'm going to give you the point. Okay. That's weird. Hey, shut up!

[01:00:46] Yeah, you didn't win. You don't get to play the final game, Brad. Ben? After what you've done today? Yeah. You just... You silence. If I did get to play the final game... No, stop. It'll be over. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. Man, I am running through so many movies with war. None of them were in World of Warcraft. War. There was a movie called War with Jason Statham and Jet Li. I don't think any of them were in that.

[01:01:16] I don't know if anybody was in War Horse. Yeah. I don't know if anybody... Chris Tensworth was in a horse movie, but that wasn't that one. No, Ben and Chris Cumberbatch was in that one. Ben and Chris Cumberbatch. Ben and Chris Cumberbatch. Yep. Was one of them in War of the Worlds? I'm going to say War of the Worlds, Chris Evans. Chris Evans. Evans. Unfortunately. Bam. But Chris Evans was in Captain America. Civil War. Civil War. And Chris Pine was in This Means War. Yep. And Chris Hemsworth was in... That's War. That's War.

[01:01:45] So you didn't. You said it would be over by now. I forgot Chris Hemsworth. Oh, so Mr. Cocky. I was too busy thinking about his body. It's the Huntsman. Winter's War. Winter's War. Of course. So there you go. There's your games for this evening. You can forget the Snow White spinoff spinoff. Having some fun with the games. I had not another teen movie locked and loaded. I know, right? Yeah. Jake Weiler. That's Chris Evans' character name. That doesn't have War in the title. I was...

[01:02:09] One question that I was coming up with was how many total movies with the name Movie in the title had that Chris has been in? Oh, yeah. Gosh. Because the Lego Movie and the Garfield... Movie 56. Movie 43. Actually, that's just all Chris Pratt. Yeah, that is all Chris Pratt. He still made the shitty movie. The shitty movie, yeah. So Lego Movie, Lego Movie 2. Not that those are shitty movies, but... No, those are phenomenal movies. But with the word movie in them. Yeah, he's in four of them. Right. Okay. We got four. There you go.

[01:02:39] Well, that was fun. I was just having some fun, guys. Did any of you see Pool Man really quick? No. The Newstown movie? No, I heard it was not good, though. I loved it. It was bad. It's not good. It's a take of a classic L.A. detective story, but where the character doesn't want to be

[01:03:06] involved in anything or have any point of existing. It is a painfully dull movie, and... That's Licorice Pizza. I'll get it. It's fine. It's not even... First of all, Licorice Pizza is actually good. I just said it's a piss-off brand. One of two or three movies that we've seen where we've actually seen people leave the movie from the theater. There were only us and another couple, and about 30 minutes and the other couple left. Wow. I think that was until the end. Hey, good for you guys for sticking it out. I love it.

[01:03:32] Oh, just speaking of other just trash movies, I watched somebody talking about Runner. Oh, I've heard it's just awful. With Gal Gadot, and it's just evidently so, so, so bad, but takes itself so, so seriously. It would be definitely one... Like, I saw someone online describe it as mega ass. All right, so here's the truth. I'm not even joking. I have a serious question. Is Gal... Is she... Is Gal Gadot a good actor? No. No.

[01:03:59] Because she's great in Wonder Woman, the first one, and nothing else. She has an extremely limited range, and I think that you really have to tailor a role specifically to her ability for her to actually do a good job. But in general, I don't think she has the ability to, like, disappear into a character or anything like that. And it's a lot of times because her accent is very thick, and she's not a native English speaker. So that's really hard to film. And that's why Arnold Schwarzenegger wasn't successful.

[01:04:27] Well, I know, but, like, still, that's a big hurdle for her, for sure, for sure. Because she has not gotten over that. Yeah. Yeah. Christoph Waltz, not successful. Yeah. Fair enough. I'm just trying to give her some, you know, respect on her name a little bit, I guess. Mm-hmm. She was great as Wonder Woman. So now you respect women? I've always respected women. See, what kind of what's the... That was your girlfriend, Ashley, with a skeptical... Yeah, that's fair. Get her on the mic. Let's leave that one alone!

[01:04:56] I have changed! Anyway... You didn't want to do a... What? Oh, boy. Susan's just turning the mic around for her. I just think it's funny. I just think it's funny. You didn't want to play the Leonard Maltin game? Yeah, I didn't write that one, buddy. Oh. Yeah. I figured you did. I wrote four other games. I figured you'd have time. Yeah, I think you did a good job, buddy. It was fun. He had a freaking heart attack this week. Yeah, right. He didn't have a heart attack. So he didn't have anything to do except sit around and look at a book.

[01:05:26] Look at a book. We've been on this podcast, I don't know, five or six times. First time anyone has ever beaten Brad, to my knowledge. Yeah. So let's give Ben Bloom a round of applause. It's rare, but yeah. Look at Ben's pretzels on Instagram. Ben rates pretzels. Ben rates pretzels. Susan, you got anything coming up you want to tell the people about? You can come see our improv group. Yeah! At Anderson Winery, October 23rd. Hey, Brad, make sure this one's out before October 23rd. He'd guarantee you he won't.

[01:05:55] November 28th. Oh, actually, I said that wrong anyway. October 23rd, we're at Chicago Street Theater in Valpo. November 28th, we're at Anderson Winery. Oh, this definitely won't be out before then. But you guys are absolutely fucking hysterical. Every time I come to see you guys, I laugh my butt off. And you are very, very good at your job. So yes, you should definitely check out Ben and Susan, their improv troupe. Where can people find more about Well Suited? Well Suited Theater on like every social media thing.

[01:06:24] Well Suited Theater. Oh, we love them. There you go. What about MySpace? Oh, no, we don't have a MySpace yet. We'll get one of those. What are you doing? Yeah. What are you doing? We're throwing a MySpace joke in at the end of the episode. I'm sorry. Did you hear Pastor Nate? Oh, see, this is what he does. He does. This is what he does. Every time. Every time. Every time. You're all past it. Like you got to take him from on high and bring him out. When did you two fucking jackals decide to team up over here? No, no, no. It's pretty organic. Oh, just because you had a heart attack and you had a hard day, you get to team up against

[01:06:54] old Buzz Ball Brad? Yes. You got to suck my balls. Guys, it's been fun. Bye, everybody. Bye. Nah, cheating. Bye. Bye.
