[00:20:45] And like, it feels like almost like it's intentionally trying to avoid making reference to any specific
[00:20:51] characters that might be from Venom comics.
[00:20:54] Like there are a bunch of different symbiotes in Marvel comics other than Venom and Carnage.
[00:21:00] And there's several symbiotes in this movie, but they don't ever go out of their way to name
[00:21:06] them or give them distinct identifying marks.
[00:21:09] So from an IP perspective, why would that be?
[00:21:12] Because I guarantee you they knew what was going to happen with those characters and they
[00:21:16] didn't want to waste any of them in case they wanted to use them later down in other Venom

[00:44:47] And there's a guy who's like an illusionist who can recognize when there's fake things going on.
[00:44:51] And they bring on this psychologist who is working with a girl who is apparently possessed by some kind of demon.
[00:44:59] And the way it unfolds is just, it's really interesting the way the story progresses and how it escalates.
[00:45:05] It's really, really creepy, really, really unsettling.
[00:45:08] The performances are fantastic.
[00:45:09] The way it's framed is really good because they make it feel like an actual episode of a talk show like that.

[01:27:41] For lack of a better comparison, it has elements of the Godfather or Once Upon a Time in America, but without the organized crime part of it.
[01:27:49] It's very much focused on this guy who was a real brutalist architect and his life as he immigrated to America and started to carve out a life for himself.
[01:28:01] And the story of how he came to build this building that was meant to be a tribute to this rich guy's deceased wife and everything that came about that with his family and the relationships he developed.
[01:28:13] And it's tragic and brilliantly acted, beautifully shot.
[01:28:18] They made this movie for under $10 million and it doesn't look like it at all.
[01:28:24] Like, it looks incredible.
[01:28:25] It feels big.
[01:28:27] It's set in like three different time periods and I don't know how they made this movie for under $10 million.
